This was the last track written after the CD was mostly done. The day I got my guitar back from being re-fretted, I was just noodling in the first position, checking for fret buzz and out came this ditty. As soon as I wrote it I had to include it and It wound up being the first song I released... along with a video on YouTube. Funny how you always want to release your newest song :)

The lyrics are deliberately inspirational... about showing compassion for a fellow human being in their time of need. Being the light for someone else is one of the greatest things we can do.

I added a keyboard and a simulated violin behind the guitars on a few of the chorus parts to give it a more angelic and intimate feel. I also finger-picked everything but the bridge. I strummed that part for bigger dynamics.
